ALFA ROMEO 147 2.0 T-SPARK

2008 RED  34000km  R169,900.00
Here is a true bargain. This car, new today, costs R100,000 more than the current asking price and not only is it only a year old, but it is in as new condition. The ever popular 147 in 2.0 litre form is an excellent car, sporty, distinctive and individual. The car comes with a comprehensive 3yr or 60,000 kms motorplan. To summarise, R100k cheaper than a new one and no running costs for the next 26000 kms. Take advantage of this whacky deal while you can

ALFA ROMEO SPIDER

1976 WHITE    R85,000.00

Another good example of the increasingly rare Alfa Spider. It is right hand drive and was formerly the personal car of Amadeo, the man that fixed all our Alfa's over the years but who, sadly, was taken to the big workshop in the sky recently. You can just imagine the condition then. These cars are destined for greatness in the future and are already attracting good prices in Europe.

AUDI A4 3.0 CABRIOLET

2004 BLUE  130000km  R199,000.00
,
Respect to the previous owner of this car because it is in superb condition. It has a full service history with the agents. The car is a revelation to drive. I have always admired the way Audi put their cars together and this is no exception. It is smooth yet sporty, functional yet stylish. The tiptronic gearbox is excellent, as are the brakes and suspension. It is just a very attractive package, a good four seater, a car that was over half a million rands when new and is offered at a very competitive price. You have to come and see the condition to appreciate what a good buy this is.

AUDI A8 4.2 QUATTRO A/T

1997 SILVER  172000km  R85,000.00

All aluminium body, top of the range flagship model. Sunroof and Bose sound system. New tyres. Full service history. 4.2 quad cam V8 engine that has spawned many subsequent supercars and is recognised as being one of the all time greats for its power delivery and reliability. Permanent four wheel drive technology. Low mileage. What more could you possibly want for a measly R85000 ? And if you agree that it is a bargain on paper, wait until you have driven it !!!

  AUDI RS2 (M)

1995 BLUE  160000km  R250,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
Respect !! Everyone who has ever driven one of these vehicles will say the same. This is a cult machine of note. Not many cars have ever been built under the auspices of the Porsche factory, nor can there be many non Porsches with this level of finish or performance. This was a very limited production run vehicle, with only 15 coming to South Africa. I would be interested to know how many of those original 15 are left because in the wrong hands, i am sure they are a handful. They dont come up for sale very often and can be assured of future collectable status.

  BENTLEY TURBO R

1993 BLUE  59000km  R575,000.00

A very rare car on these shores with fewer than a handful existing. Its the late spec 4 speed auto with floor mounted gearshift, self levelling suspension. The condition is impeccable with colour combination to match. The later Bentley Turbo R's were stupendous performers with great presence on the road and will surely be remembered as one of the last true Bentleys.

  BMW 5 SERIES 550i A/T

2007 BLACK  57000km  R465,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
and by full house i mean everything including the kitchen sink, in fact the extras were worth R170,000 on top of the list price. Its an individual with the full body kit as well as steering assist, brake assist, navigation, pdc front and rear, night vision, day vision, sunroof, moon roof, sky roof, tv, radio, cd, dvd, Lp, eight track, i-pod, ear- pod, intimate theatre, small restaurant, telephone, computer, camera, cinema. Thats just the extras i can remember.

  BMW 7 SERIES 740i A/T

2001 WHITE  165000km  R115,000.00
FULL HOUSE, FULL SERVICE HISTORY,
Last year of production models are always the very best spec cars to buy and this one is no exception. It has a sunroof, park distance control, xenon lights, navigation. The car has just been serviced and benefits from having new tyres fitted. You have heard me go on and on ad nauseum about the value represented in these cars so i will keep it short, buy it before someone else does

  BMW X5 3.0i A/T

2004 GREY  80000km  R245,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
Absolutely superb example with exceptionally low mleage and obviously cherished. It is the Sportspack version with the big wheels, running boards etc and is also fitted with a towbar and the factory glass sunroof. Its not easy to find an X5 of this vintage with under 100,00kms on the clock. Perfect holiday vehicle and ready to go.

  CADILLAC Sedan De Ville

1964 BLUE    R215,000.00

Fabulously original example of the top of the range Caddy. 64 was a good year in that the styling was so sublime. This car literally was the American Rolls Royce with excellent fit and finish, smooth drivetrain and great presence on the road. Even today it looks spectacular on the road. It is ideally suited for church, weddings, funerals, movies, matric farewells, barmitzvahs, gangsters, hip hop artists, advertising agencies, brothels, drive by's, cheap accommodation, and so many other things. It is highly collectable and sought after and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

  CITROEN DS PALLAS 21

1970 GREY  105000km  R85,000.00

MON AMI GP, is perhaps, the most original DS left in South Africa, having covered a mere 105,000 kms from new. I purchased it many years ago from its original owner. This example has spent all of its life on the Highveld and subsequently is absolutely rust free. There are a few signs of old age, such as a couple of cracks on the dash top, as wll as a hardening of the original vinyl seats resulting in a split or two, but apart from that, it is a remarkable specimen. It is a four speed manual. It wears almost new tyres and has just returned from a comprehensive service as well as a new clutch at the DS Centre. I am still enthralled by these cars, with every drive being a most unique and pleasurable experience. This car has captured the attention of many, not least of all a very reputable restorer of Citroens in Europe who spent two days photographing every detail of this car for reference purposes, as he had never seen such an original car. Of course, he would like to own it but you know my feelings about cars leaving this country. Believe me when i tell you that i could handsomely exceed the asking price if i did not wish it to stay in this rust free enviroment. I am only considering selling one of my DS's, so its either this one or the 23 that will go. Come and have a look and see what you think of this gallic beauty.

  CITROEN DS PALLAS 23

1975 BLUE  130000km  R105,000.00
OO LA LA GP is probably the best DS in the land, having a genuine 130,000 kms from new. It was also a one owner car when i bought it some 12 years ago and i have done 40,000 of those kms. The last year of production, with five speed manual gearbox, this car has been cherished all of its life, and it shows. It is entirely original, never having had rust nor accident damage. I have painted the odd panel from time to time but that was because the paint had got too thin from polishing and was showing its primer a bit. The boot lid is the next panel to be painted for the same reason. It still has its original interior, which is vinyl and tan in colour. Tyres are almost new and the car has just been comprehensively serviced, including its original brake pads replaced, at the DS Centre. ALL remedial work required over the years, has been done like the starter motor, power steering, suspension etc. This is the prettiest DS you will ever see. Again it has been covetted by many overseas dealers and collectors alike but the old girl simply has to stay. This car is easily twelve thousand pounds worth [ R192000 ]. I want considerably less than that for it to stay. If you desire to have the very best, contact me. I am only selling one of my DS's so its which ever goes first.

  CITROEN Light 15

1953 MAROON    POA

Every one loves the Light 15. There is something romantic, something nostalgic about its shape, it appeals to everyone. I have a problem when it comes to Citroens. I have been described as being a very good salesman, but am unable to sell Citroens. I find myself telling prospective buyers all of the pitfalls of ownership, i even search for flaws in the character of future owners, anything to prevent some poor bugger from wresting ownership of these quirky machines from my grasp. I dont fully understand it as i have been priveleged to own some incredible machinery in my long career in the classic and collectable environment, some mouth watering examples of cars that i have sold on without so much as a blink of an eye, except for these Gallic curiosities. My wife believes it to be a sickness as do most of my fellow collectors. I currently have five Citroens and my wife is tired of her car standing out in the elements so i have promised her that i will make an effort to reduce my obsession. The 15 is a good one, Slough built, remarkably devoid of the tin worm [ or snail ] and full of original parts, particularly in the engine bay. Havent seen a better one for sale in ages [ yes, rather pathetically, i look at all Citroens that come on to the market ] Good luck trying to buy it from me!!!

  CLASSIC CAR JENSEN INTERCEPTOR III

1975 SILVER  52000km  R155,000.00

Many people are blissfully unaware of the Jensen but it was a significant car of the 60's and 70's, competing against the likes of Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini. It was expensive and virtually hand built, a collaberation of English design, Italian body and American muscle. There has never been anything like it since. To say that this car has presence is an understatement. The problem with the supercars of the sixties was that they had such a reputation for unreliability and difficulty of everyday use. They were hard to control, tricky to keep in tune and generally hard work. Jensen addresed these issues by fitting the ultra reliable 440 cubic inch Chrysler unit mated to the virtually unbreakable Chrysler gearbox, the car was lavishly trimmed in connoly type hides with a whole herd gallantly giving up their right to live just to be part of the Jensen. The body style was sublime with its unique goldfish bowl rear window. Unique looking and certainly unique sounding, it was the preferred choice of many a playboy who could not bear the thought of braking down on the side of the road and getting his cravat wet. Its an absolute pleasure to have this vehicle here for sale and i trust that it will give much pleasure here forward.

  JAGUAR 3.8 S (M)

1968 GREEN    R125,000.00
RESTORED
Everyone wants a MK 2 right ? Ever driven an S Type ? Its better, no two ways about it, and it looks just the same from the drivers position. Yes it has that sensible boot on the back but it is in many ways superior to the MK2. This model has got a collection of restoration bills that would make your eyes water. Not an unusual amount if you know anything about restoring cars, lets just say that a lot of the pain has been taken out of classic Jaguar ownership, over a quarter of a million rands worth of work in the last three years actually, which rather makes a mockery of the asking price, doesnt it ? Come and have a look before you dismiss this example.

  LOTUS ESPIRIT TURBO

1984 BLUE    R159,000.00

The car that launched a thousand schoolboy dreams, the only car to have appeared in two James Bond movies. The Esprit, when launched, stood the traditional sports car business on its head. With everyone going bigger, larger capacity and more complicated, Lotus, true to Colin Chapmans philosophy of less is more, produced a perfectly balanced, low weight mid engined supercar with just a 2.2 litre turbo charged engine that blew away its contemporaries, think Ferrari 308, Maserati Merak, Lambo Uracco, and the like. It was also a fabulous shape, the proportions being the template for every supercar thereafter to emulate in some way. This example is largely original, has had its engine rebuilt in the last 10,000 kms and offers blinding value for money considering the other two currently available at R250K and 350K at more profit conscious dealerships. Come and have a look.

  MERCEDES-BENZ 190 B

1960 GREY    R49,000.00

Lovely old lady. Its an honest, unmolested example of the Ponton, a car that starts on the button, is roadworthy, and has no immediate needs. Paintwork, at best might be described as being previously completed by a blind man with a twitch and a dirty brush, but apart from that, and considering the asking price, its an excellent starter classic with lots of character. She wont be around for long, i can assure you.

  MERCEDES-BENZ 380 SL A/T

1982 DARK BLUE    R125,000.00

a rare beast in South Africa, the 380 wasnt brought here in SL form, which is more the pity as the engine has proved itself in all other models that were brought through the dealer network. The colour combination of this car is just as good as it gets, non metallic midnight blue with light tan interior. It has obviously been the subject of much expenditure to make it look like it does. The car comes with a hard and soft top and this is also dark blue in colour. Come and have a look at this beauty.

  MERCEDES-BENZ 450 SL A/T

1978 BLUE  170000km  R115,000.00

This example is about as original as it gets, having been owned, for all of its life bar one year, by one man, and serviced religiously by the same company. Classic colour combination makes this collectable and increasingly valuable as time goes by. They dont build em like this anymore. It come s with a hard and soft top.

  MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS 180 CDi (M)

2006 BLACK  106000km  R149,000.00

six speed manual with factory fitted towbar. Balance of motorplan to 2012. An impossibly frugal commuter with character and strength designed into its compact bones. Black with black. Newish tyres.

  MERCEDES-BENZ CL 500 A/T

2000 SILVER  148000km  R275,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
A superb example of one of my favourite models of all time from ze Chermans. This car has a ful service history and has the AMG cosmetic extras which include front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, wheels, exhaust, kickplates and overcarpets. Its a marvellous sports tourer with legendary build quality. This car was R1 Million Rands when new. A veritable bargain.

  MERCEDES-BENZ ML 350 A/T

2007 SILVER  90000km  R395,000.00

silver with sensible black. Balance of motorplan to 120,000 or 2013, whichever comes first. An attractive example at a very affordable level.

  MERCEDES-BENZ ML 350 A/T

2006 GOLD  72000km  R385,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
A very capable package. One would have to question why anyone would want more than a 350 in this model. It performs well enough, provides a surprising amount of economy and comfort and takes away that feeling you might have if you were driving a 63 that everyone thinks you have a small pee-pee. This model has the air suspension option as well as high and low range gearboxes. Xenons were an option also. Its the right price and the right time.............

  MERCEDES-BENZ ML 350 A/T

2006 BLACK  51000km  R415,000.00

Black with tan interior. Can there be a better combination ? four years old with 50,000 kms from new, this car benefits from a three year or 50,000 motorplan balance. The windows have been tinted and the vehicle has navigation. It can best be described as being in as new condition. I have several examples in stock so might be open to a frivolous offer.

  MERCEDES-BENZ SL 300 24v

1991 RED  166000km  R139,000.00

If the pictures dont convince you, the drive will. This is an excellent example of the rare 300SL 24 Valve. She comes wih factory hard top and electric soft top, full service history to support the exceedingly low mileage for a 20 year old. Yes i know, its hard to believe that it is this old when you study the features and drive the car. I would be hard pressed to offer anyone more value formoney, more investment potential than this car. Not negotiable.

  MERCEDES-BENZ SL 500 A/T

1995 WHITE  203000km  R159,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
Beautiful example of the SL, this 14 year old has got an excellent original body, has upgraded 17 inch Mercedes mags, and has covered only 15000 kms per year from new. It has its hard and soft top, the soft one being as good as you would want it to be. The car will be going through our workshop for inspection and mandatory oil change before delivery. Really, can there be better value out there than this ???

  MERCEDES-BENZ SL 500 A/T

2005 SILVER  77000km  R575,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
This is a November 2005 model so it still has 2 full years of Motorplan left. The seven speed auto SL is a superb driving car, giving lots of sporty performance and long legged cruising ability in one package. Linguatronics, navigation, park distance control, adjustable ride height, heated and cooling seats, are amongst the features of this car. The previous owner paid in the order of R1.2 million rands for this car. Its current book value is listed at R720,000 so the asking price of R575,000 must be seen as an early christmas present !! Compare its price to others currently being marketed.

  MERCEDES-BENZ SLK 55 AMG

2007 BLUE  34000km  R535,000.00

an indecent pocket rocket from Mercedes. They got this formula just right. Shoehorn a five and a half litre engine in the hole where a two litre four pot should be, add some hair raising acoustics and a decent handling package and you had the ingredients the sum total of which would guarantee a grin from ear to ear every time you use it. This example has covered only 34000 kms from new and hasa balance of motorplan to 2013 or 120,000kms.

  MG TC 1250

1948 RED    R265,000.00

A true classic. Completely restored from head to toe and looking resplendent for it, there is nothing that typifies the British approach to sports cars than a TC. Its value lies in the fact that everything has been done, no long and unnerving restoration nightmares to look forward to, and you couldnt restore a Mini, never mind a TC for the money being asked. A real sweetie that turns heads wherever she goes. Applicants with bups need look no further, we are looking for a lightweight contender for this baby !!

  MG TD

1951 YELLOW    R195,000.00

Superb example of this classic MG. This car has had only two previous owners, Noddy and Big Ears ha ha. Its a fine example, formerly the pride and joy of a well known MG collector, and has been rebuilt to an exacting and very useable standard. The car is the most driveable example i have come across in years, having been tinkered for use in various rallies and time trials. I would strongly recommend this car if you want to do much of the same. Ideal Cape winelands car with chrome wine carrier already fitted to the rear. It has all of its all weather equipment and really is ready for its next 50 years of pleasurable outings.

  MOTOR BIKE HARLEY-DAVIDSON ROAD KING

2007 BLUE  1750km  R215,000.00

Stunning example of the Road King embellished with lots of extras and really nothing more than some delivery mileage really. It is finished in a most beautiful shade of royal blue, enjoys the Twin cam engine and six speed gearbox, and is ready for its next loving ownership. This bike without the mileage, would cost easily in excess of 300k today

  MOTOR BIKE SCOOTER VESPA 150LX

2005 RED  4000km  R35,000.00

Ferrari red with tan trim, matching helmet and top box, indistinguishable from a new one. Funky, functional, friendly and thats just the F's

  PORSCHE 911 CABRIOLET

1988 CASSIS RED  120000km  R205,000.00

Take time to come and have a look at this fine example of a 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet with low kms and a service history to certify it. It has the best gearbox, the five speed manual G50, is fitted with factory aircon [ very useful in a convertible like having a fork to eat soup ] and portrays a car that has been cherished considering it is 22 years old. The electric soft top is in good order, paintwork appears original and correct, tyres good, performance superb. A true classic that is destined to rise in value with every passing year. Open to any inspection.

PORSCHE 930 TURBO FLATNOSE (400 BHP)

1981 BLUE    R350,000.00

special car that everyone seems to know, having taken on a few land speed challenges as well as hill climbs and various other races in its day. The vehicle is a factory flat nose conversion, a factory 400bhp conversion, as authenticated by Carrera, Porsche 959 brakes, perspex glass, sports racing seats, a manually adjustable boost control, and many other mods to make this a unique and collectable vehicle. Its right hand drive, has a factory sunroof and a\c. Its got to be worth a look hasnt it ?

  PORSCHE 964 CABRIOLET

1991 MAROON  130000km  R365,000.00

Why do these 964's seem much more true to the spirit of the 911's than their successor, the 993 ? I swear this car is faster, more urgent, more vocal than the 993, it sounds like a Porsche should, goes like it should, quickly and with no apology for its harsh impatient temperament. This particular example has a very low mileage, in fact it is less than 7000kms per year from new. Its a good example of a great car.

ROLLS ROYCE Mulliner Park Ward 2 door Coupe

1966 BLUE    R295,000.00
107000 MILES
This is one of the earliest Coupes in existance, having been built in 1965 and first registered early in 66. Its value must not be underestimated for you simply have to look at all previous renditions of 2 door Rolls Royces to verify its potential. Rare, elegant, stylish, its future is gilt edged. My middle name is not Nostradamus for no reason, watch this space..........

  ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW

1968 BLUE  87000km  R145,000.00

Nice old lady with a patina that only time and reserved ownership can produce. Very period colour of Airforce blue with grey hides. The car is an honest example with no glaring faults. It drives well and has recently had extensive work to the braking system completed. Recommended.

  ROVER COUPE P5B

1970 GREEN  107000km  R85,000.00

When last did you see a P5B Coupe in this country ? It is indeed a rare and elegant beast. Prices in the UK are currently well north of 10,000 Pounds. The B, for those who dont know, was identified by two rather dramatic changes, the lowered roof line which gave the four door car its dramatic coupe look, and the 3.5 litre all aluminium V8 engine which was to become one of the longest running production engines in history, going into subsequent Rover models as well as powering Range Rovers for 20 years of production, Morgans, and TVR's. The car is remarkably original in appearance and runs with silky smoothness. It has reputedly only had 3 owners from new and had a complete engine overhaul some 10,000 miles ago. The car is not perfect but is as good as one could expect for a 40 year old. The car has great presence and was produced when England still knew how to put a car together. It was much loved by Royalty and politicians alike. The Queen mother was the cars greatest fan and it is reputed that she still had an unused one in mothballs when she left us. Such character for such little money

  TVR CHIMAERA 4.0

2000 SILVER  39000km  R245,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
A really stunning example, excellent colour combination and seriously good condition example of the most sucessful TVR ever built. What a good looking sports car this is. Everything about this car suggests responsible ownership, from the condition of the interior to the bodywork. A classic car of the future, without a question of doubt. Beautiful.

VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE CABRIOLET (LEFT HAND DRIVE)

1973 BLUE    R95,000.00

Not to be confused with all those chopped rag top Beetles you see around, this is the original and highly collectable Karmann Convertible. They are rare here as they were never available. This example is in very good order, is a 72 large rear tail light model, and has a new, and very expensive new hood fitted.

  VOLVO XC70 2.4T

2002 CHAMPAGNE  220000km  R85,000.00

Nice example that exemplifies what good ownership can do to a car. It has a full dealer service history, original bodywork, newish tyres, excellent trim and would easily convince anyone that it had done 120,000 kms not 220,000. A solid workhorse with surprising comfort and performance.

  VOLVO XC90 T6 A/T

2005 WHITE  64000km  R245,000.00
FULL HOUSE,
Here goes a sweeping statement ; The XC90 is the best four wheel drive people carrier on the market !!. I have had them all of every make and model but nothing compares to the T6. Its got incredible performance, its quiet, the suspension is so wonderfully compliant to all surface conditions, it is a proper 7 seater, not a 5 seater with two extra benches for legless people, it tows so well. Its as close to a car in its driving impression as you can get. Have you not noticed just how many of them are on the road. Yet they are so affordable compared to the other pretenders. Volvo should be singing from the highest mount about this product.
